Executive Office Design – Government Organization

Government

The Vision

This project involved the redesign of an executive office for a government organization, where
the objective was to transform an outdated workspace into a refined, functional, and welcoming
environment suitable for leadership meetings and official visitors.
The CEO requested a layout that would accommodate multiple functional zones within the
same office. The design therefore incorporates a dedicated working area, a comfortable seating
space for receiving visitors, and a small meeting area for informal discussions and quick internal
meetings.
The existing office was located in an older building with small windows and limited natural
light, which made the space feel closed and dated. Through careful material selection, lighting
design, and spatial organization, the interior was reimagined to create a more elegant and
visually balanced environment while maximizing the available light.
One of the key design challenges was the wall located behind the CEO’s desk, which contained
two separate entrances along with access to a bathroom. To maintain a clean and professional
appearance, the design integrates concealed doors that visually blend into the wall surface. One
of the entrances was designed as a hidden door to discreetly access the bathroom, while the
second entrance was emphasized as the formal access point to the office.
This approach allowed the space to maintain a minimal and sophisticated architectural
composition, eliminating visual clutter while improving functionality and circulation.
The final design creates a professional executive environment that balances privacy, comfort,
and functionality—providing the CEO with a workspace that supports both focused work and
high-level meetings in a refined setting.
